It is located in the area of Chania in Crete island and is approximately 2.500-5.000 years old.

Its perimeter is near 12 meters and it is considered a natural monument.

This olive tree was also connected with the Olympic Games in 2004.

The First Marathon runner was crowned with a wreath made from this exact olive tree.
